A network of partners enables Project Momentum to thrive, including:

 

Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust

The trust provided Project Momentum a three-year grant to conduct research on substance misuse in Edgecombe and Nash Counties.

Twin County Partnerships for Healthier Communities

Project Momentum collaborates with Twin County Partnerships on projects such as Addiction Algebra.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Project Momentum received RWJF’s Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Fellowship, a three-year fellowship, in 2018.

Minding Our Business

Project Momentum is partnering with other agencies to complete a community-based research project focused on addressing the mental health needs of youth in Eastern North Carolina. This partnership includes Healing Circles and free counseling for youth through Valiant Families.

 

Project GRACE

Project Momentum is a subcontractor and community-based organizer within a greater network comprising over thirty organizations and individuals. The National Institutes of Health is the primary funder of Project GRACE.

 

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Project Momentum partners with UNC-Chapel Hill on topics related to health disparity, including our recent MAPSCorps project.

 

The Conservation Fund’s Resourceful Communities

Resourceful Communities provides funds and operational support to Project Momentum.
