Purpose: assess community and stakeholder insights about substance misuse in Edgecombe and Nash Counties. Population served: residents and stakeholders across the Twin Counties. Activities: community-based data collection over three years. Partnerships: Twin Counties Partnership for Healthier Communities, funded by the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust. Outcome: findings shared with the community at the UNC Nash Auditorium on February 24, 2023.
What We Do
Project Momentum — in collaboration with the Twin Counties Partnership for Healthier Communities — received a three-year grant from the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust to lead a community-based research initiative entitled Addiction Algebra. The project assessed community and stakeholder insights about substance misuse across Edgecombe and Nash Counties.
The data collection phase is complete, with findings shared with the community beginning February 24, 2023 at the UNC Nash Auditorium in Rocky Mount, NC.
